Refund policy
Returns & Refund Policy
At Eaton Community Pharmacy, we are committed to providing quality products and services and ensuring our customers are treated fairly
This Returns & Refund Policy applies to purchases made in-store and online, and is subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Change of Mind
We do not provide refunds or exchanges where a customer has simply changed their mind, selected the wrong product, purchased the wrong size or colour, or no longer requires the product.
However, this policy does not affect or limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
If a product:
-
is faulty or defective;
-
is damaged when supplied;
-
is significantly different from its description;
-
is not fit for the purpose for which it was sold; or
-
is otherwise not of acceptable quality,
you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.
The remedy available will depend on the circumstances and whether the issue is considered a major or minor problem.
If you believe there is a problem with a product you have purchased from us, please contact our pharmacy team as soon as possible. We may ask for proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation.
Incorrect Product Supplied
If we have supplied you with an incorrect product, please contact us so that we can assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused by an error on our part and will work with you to resolve the matter promptly.
Medicines and Pharmacy Products
For health, safety and quality-control reasons, we may not be able to accept the return or resale of medicines, prescription products, refrigerated products, opened products or other pharmacy-related items once they have left our premises.
This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law where a product does not meet a consumer guarantee.
Where a product is subject to specific pharmaceutical, health or safety requirements, additional restrictions may apply.
Proof of Purchase
Where a refund, replacement or other remedy is requested, we may request reasonable proof of purchase, such as:
-
a receipt;
-
order confirmation;
-
tax invoice; or
-
other evidence of purchase from Eaton Community Pharmacy
Refunds
Where a refund is approved, it will generally be made using the original payment method, where reasonably practicable.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment method and financial institution.
